On 24 September, on the eve of the opening of the Monaco Yacht Show 2019, the new 64steel by Sanlorenzo was a winner at the sixth edition of the “MYS Superyacht Awards”,honouring the four best yachts over 40 meters in length participating in the show.
During the prize ceremony held at the Monaco Yacht Club, the new Sanlorenzo flagship was assigned the “2019 MYS/RINA Award”, selected by a jury of experts for its systems and technology in compliance with the highest international standards for prevention of water and air pollution, set by the Italian association for ship classification RINA as a guarantee of “green” certification.
With 1,600 gross tons, 64 meters of length, five decks and an internal maximum width of 12.5 meters, 64Steel Attila is the largest yacht Sanlorenzo has produced to date. An innovative offering, thanks to a layout and structures usually found on larger yachts, which allow Sanlorenzo to apply unprecedented solutionsto create maximum on-board livability, combined with elegant external lines.
The Main Deck at the stern and the Beach Club on the Lower Deck are undoubtedly the most striking areas of the project. One forceful design and layout feature is the double staircase connecting the pool and dining area to the Beach Club, complete with sauna, hammam, massage room and fitness room, au fil de l’eau. With the transom and lateral platforms open, the Beach Club has an exceptional area of 78 square meters.
