This is Tommaso Spadolini’s third boat for the same owner. The naval engineering on the 40-metre explorer yacht will be by Hydro Tec and she’ll build at the Cantieri delle Marche.
The owner expressly requested a safe craft with a long range so he would not need to go into port too often on his long voyages. He intends to spend a lot of time aboard with his family – they like being involved in everything from steering to meal preparation too. So the steel-hulled Explorer 40.22 will have a very small crew. Spadolini has crafted simple, classic waterlines. The interiors will be casual chic and very spacious. Needless to say, the equipment spec is impressive as per the yard’s tradition.
