The heir to the SX88 and the SX76, the new Sanlorenzo SX112 is the new flagship of the Crossover line, which was the brainchild of Luca Santella. With exteriors as always by Bernardo Zuccon and interiors by Piero Lissoni, the 34m develops its predecessors’ philosophy to new levels of sophistication.
One of the focal points of the project was the elimination of all barriers between interior and exterior. Thanks to the fact that the steering position is on the fly, the main deck, home to both living and dining areas, remains open plan. Even the spiral stairs, which winds its way through three levels, remains one of the most important design features. However, the interior beach area has evolved, connecting directly with the exterior and sporting fold-out side terraces. |
Zuccon has further enhanced the family feeling of the range by playing with balance, volumes and flowing forms so that the lines are reminiscent of large marine mammals. The new SX112 will have a beam of eight metres and draw 1.85. Twin 1,000 hp Volvo IPS3 1350S engines will yield a top speed of 23 knots and a cruising average of 20.
