Norberto Ferretti is back with new, unique boats

With the launch of the project Solaris Power, one of the greats of motor boating, Norberto Ferrettireturns to the scene. Together with Solaris, he decided to build the boat he felt most comfortable with: “I was missing in boat work and among the many projects that struck me the most was the lobster boat, a synthesis of seaworthiness, functionality, technology and safety. There are two ways to build boats: to show them or to use them. I use them.– Norberto Ferretti

A type of boat that has been missing for too long and that meets the expectations of a selected market. The new Solaris Power 55 contains a combination of features difficult to find combined in a single boat, and break down the division between displacement boats, ie slow, and fast, ie planing.

A set of features never seen before in a single boat

This 55 footer, which is the first of a range that will be completed by four other models of 48, 65, 78 and 88 feet, can in fact navigate both at low speed in displacement, and with top speeds above 35 knots, different in this from the normal hulls planing. There was not a boat on the market that really combined these two types of navigation: slow with low consumption and fast with comfort. But that’s not all, thanks to the hull and its shapes can deal with any sea condition, in complete safety and comfort, with a range of hundreds of miles.

There was not a boat that took up the concept of the lobster, born as work hulls for lobster fishing, modifying it and making it very topical, a unique “object” of great charm. The aesthetic effect is a “timeless” boat that in decades will still be contemporary. The Solaris Power in fact takes up the key concepts of the history of yachting, adapting them to the technical and aesthetic innovations of today. The result, you can see from the images, is undoubtedly of great charm.

Would you like to know some examples of the technological work ofSolaris, leader in the segment of sailing boats in the “premium” band and also maker of dozens of motoryachts, including 5 shuttles of 28 meters? Here are a few: low fuel consumption and low CO2 emissions, or the low noise and absence of vibration, not to mention the ease of mooring thanks to the use of two Volvo Penta Ips 725 hp each with joystick or the particular hull that provides great stability.

Other highlights of this new boat are also the garage for the largest tender in its category and an engine room worthy of a superyacht.

The new Solaris Power 55 will not only have the newly launched version that is a coupe, but will also have a fly version that increases the already generous outdoor spaces.

In addition to the guarantees of reliability, durability and solid construction guaranteed by the name Solaris, Solaris Power 55 has also availed itself of the collaboration of two leading authorities in the boating industry: Norberto Ferretti, founder of the homonymous shipyard and great connoisseur of every aspect concerning the “right boat” and Brunello Acampora, one of the masters of the construction of high-performance and safe hulls. That’s no small feat.
