Launched the Solaris 111

The long anticipated Solaris 111 has hit the water! The biggest Solaris Sailing Yacht built to date is a performance oriented luxury cruiser ready to impress.

Latest generation naval architecture by Soto Acebal,  structures and engineering by ISD, paired with innovative styling and interior layouts by Monaco based MYT, make this an impressive race machine with the true comforts of a premium Super-Yacht.

Hull and deck are constructed from pre-preg carbon, and fitted with a lifting keel suitable for world cruising at racing speeds.  A team assembled of Southern Spars (mast), Future Fibers (rig), Doyle (Sails) and Rig Pro (Commissioning)  were selected to set up new standards in the sail industry, following the shipyard’s credo ‘Built for Sailors’.

The impressive full beam master cabin with 2 separate bathrooms and direct access to the private beach, marks Solaris Yacht’s entry into the Super-Yacht segment.

The launch was celebrated in Italy with over 200 people, with the Solaris team and a number of sailing industry magnates.

A great vibe was felt as the 22 Ton fin keel and bulb connected to the ultra lightweight hull and rig touched the water for the first time and the yacht perfectly floated onto her lines – an impressive manifest of the yard’s technical knowledge and its long-time experience in building innovative high-end sailing yachts by a dedicated team with decades of experience.

The Super -Yacht CEFEA will now enter an intense phase of trials and will then sail around Italy to the Golfe de Sant-Tropez during the famous event Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez at the end of September 2020, where the she can be discovered and visited for the very first time.
