Invictus Yacht has officially presented their new CX series: the latest addition to the well received “X” gamma that already includes the FX series of outboard powered sport boats and the SX series of open design inboard-outboard powered boats.
The CX series is another winning combination of elements: hull shapes are derived from the “X” series, but with the addition of a living area amidships and most importantly of a new space belowdecks that includes a cabin with separate bathroom.
The first model of the CX series is the 280CX, officially presented to the public in Dusseldorf.
A SPORTING GAMMA WITH EXCELLENT LIVING SPACE
The the “X” gamma lines characterize the CX gamma designs, especially the helm position with it’s vertical layout, providing precise control thanks to it’s correct ergonomics.
This gamma, like all the others offered by the yard, is designed by Christian Grande: the perfect symbol of Italian style embodied by Invictus Yachts. Compared to the SX gamma, we have greatly increased interior volumes when compared to competitors of the same length, while still maintaining the sporty profile. Great attention has been paid to finishings and detailing; not only in the choice of materials but also in their chromatic variations.
TRANSFORMING IS KING
The aft deck of the new 280CX is dominated by the spacious sunbed – which can be made even more spacious – and by the L-shaped dinette and central table. The heart of the living area beats in the center of the boat, with the stand-up steering chair that can easily be transformed to complete the seating in the after dining zone, dedicated to those who enjoy entertaining aboard their boat. These transformable systems are all standard equipment and always ensure correct ergonomics. The retractable bimini-top, extending from the foredeck to cover the entire living area, is also standard, and ensures protection from the sun during the hottest hours of the day.
The center of the boat, brilliantly engraved and detailed, is the basis for the steering and navigation area, and includes the cabin hallway and wide settee that transforms into a double bed. The richly finished cabin perfectly illustrates the boat’s leisurely calling and includes a portable mini-bar, refrigerator and separate bathroom with exceptional standing room thanks to the position in the center of the hull.
WORLDWIDE GROWTH FOR INVICTUS
BOOT 2017 was a perfect time to take stock of Invictus’s high growth, market protagonist since 2014. During the nautical 2015 – 2016 season, the Italian shipyard, with 55 employees and a healthy network of associates, has confirmed it’s extraordinary results, selling well over 100 units across the world in all the yard’s four different gammas: the GT 280 (the yard’s best selling model) and the GT 370; the TT 280; the FX 190, 200, with the FX 240 and 270 also available in fishing versions; and the SX 280.
The growth that characterizes the Italian brand has also seen Invictus triumph on the other side of the world with successful sales of their first models in Australia.
“In the coming months”, announced Marco Zuccolà, Sales Manager for the Mediterranean Area, during his press conference in Dusseldorf, “we will continue to develop our network, increasing the coverage of our post-sales service dedicated to Invictus owners.”
