Azimut Yachts @the Versilia Yachting Rendez-vous

Azimut Yachts choses the Versilia Yachting Rendez-vous for the official ‘on water’ debut of the 2018 novelties, the Atlantis 51 and the Azimut 55 Fly, which so much curiosity have received in the previous months. Many other yachts will be there, including the Azimut S7 and the Azimut Grande 27 METRI. Over all, there will be 10 models by the Avigliana shipyard on display. Three of those belong to the Atlantis Collection, the sporty cruiser characterized by the open line with hard-top: Atlantis 34, Atlantis 43and the Atlantis 51, at its Italian debut and for the first time in the sea, after the world premiere at the Boot Düsseldorf earlier this year.

Atlantis 51is a yacht with a true open DNA, large interior spaces, thanks to the wide beam (4.5 m) and aggressive design by Neo Design. The Main Deck has been designed as a large lounge area, while the Lower Deck offers three cabins and a central dinette with a built-in table, which declines this “best in class” model in its segment. The three cabins are very bright thanks to the large windows. The performance is in line with the sporty appearance, also underlined by the streamlined superstructure: the engine room hosts two 600 HP Volpo IPS 800 engines that will allow the boat to reach a top speed of 35 knots and a cruising pace of about 32 knots.

The second debut at sea will be that of the Azimut 55 Fly, characterized by a decisive and dynamic look for the exteriors, designed by Stefano Righini, and the softer geometries of the interiors, designed by Achille Salvagni whose project aimed at offering a sense of calm and peace, also emphasized by the choice of materials such as grey and dark oak, glossy black lacquered wood and bronze and steel inserts.

The layout of the guest area features three bright cabins in the Lower Deck, with the VIP at the extreme bow and a full-beam owner apartment.  The technological solutions identified by Azimut Innovation Lab, included in the ECS – Enhanced Cruise Solutions development program, make the yacht’s management a lot easier: the Active Trim Control guarantees the best trim in navigation, reducing friction and optimizing the consumption, while the Electronic Power Steering is an electronic steering system with sensitivity control functions that can be customized by the Captain.

Visitors will also admire the Magellan 43and the Magellan 53, which belong to the collection that has been able to renew and modernize the concept of a long-distance cruise, thanks to hulls able to navigate efficiently at multiple speeds, perfect to be exploited both in displacement and planing mode. The interior spaces, spacious and welcoming, are suitable for long stays on board.

The other yachts present at Viareggio will be the Azimut 60, with an external design and a concept by Stefano Righini and characterized by slender and aggressive lines, combined with innovative solutions in each area of the yacht, like the two original lounge areas – one at the bow and the other inside – where the dining area turns into a second living room, and the Azimut S7.

The latter, after winning the EPY 2018, Oscar of the nautical sector, has attracted so much interest during the Milan Design Week being the only yacht ever exhibited at the Triennale, and it stands out for its innovative layout.

Stefano Righini is the creator of the exterior that combines the typical features of the S Collection with an unusual design of the diamond cut windows. This model is the only one in its segment with four cabins, beach platform expander and a garage for tenders and jet skis and is available in both coupé and sporty versions. Francesco Guida was in charge of the interior design.

Stefano Righini designed also the Grande 27 METRI: a wide-body superyachtwith a unique concept that perfectly harmonizes the external lines with unprecedented interior volumes and interior furnishings, characterized by chromatic and material contrasts, by Achille Salvagni. The furniture is unique pieces designed and made to measure.
